"Fill Me!"

(11/17/25)

Begin With Silence

Take 30 seconds to just pause. Be still. Ask God to open your heart to hear His voice.

Psalm 46:10 (ESV) “Be still, and know that I am God. ..

1. Wow!

Spend time praising God for who He is... His power, love, creation, and character!

Psalm 119:18 (CEV) Open my mind and let me discover the wonders of your Law.

  • You are the God Who fills empty spaces with Your glory.
  • You breathe life into what is breathless.
  • You pour strength into the weak and hope into the weary.
  • There is nothing You cannot fill - nothing too small, nothing too broken.

2. I'm Sorry!

Be honest with God about your sins and shortcomings. Ask for forgiveness and strength to live a life that honors Him.

Psalm 139:23 (NASB95) Search me, O God, and know my heart...

  • Forgive the places I've tried to fill with lesser things.
  • Remove what clutters my heart and crowds out Your voice.
  • Expose the areas I hide behind busyness.
  • Prepare every corner of me for Your presence.

3. Thank You!

Think about specific things that you are grateful for, big and small. This could include family, friends, your health, or even the air that you breathe.

Psalm 16:11 (NIV84) ... you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

  • Thank You for meeting me in my emptiness.
  • Thank You for Your filling that brings joy, peace, and clarity.
  • Thank You for never withholding Yourself from me.
  • Thank You that fullness in You never runs dry.

4. Save Them!

Continually entrust the needs of others, and especially their need of salvation, to God. Wait with faith, not frustration, knowing He’s at work even when you can’t see it.

Ephesians 3:16 (NLT) I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.

  • Fill those who feel drained by life's demands.
  • Fill the lonely with the comfort of Your nearness.
  • Fill the broken with healing and hope.
  • Fill the lost with hunger for Your presence.

5. Deliver Me!

Entrust your needs and pain to God. Ask Him to meet you in your weakness, and remind you that He is enough.

Zechariah 4:6 (ESV) ... Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.

  • Deliver me from trying to live on my own strength.
  • Fill me with Your Spirit when I feel weak.
  • Fill me with Your wisdom where I feel uncertain.
  • Fill me with Your peace where I feel unsettled.
  • Fill me until what overflows from me looks like Jesus.

Close With Silence

Use the final minute to be quiet, to listen and reflect on your prayer time and what God may be communicating to you. Then close with...

The Lord’s Prayer

(Pray the words that Jesus taught us to pray)

Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name;

your kingdom come;

your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

Amen.
