With the upcoming Presidential election, American politics is in full swing. Whether you like any of the candidates, none of the candidates, or are threatening to move to Canada, as a follower of Jesus in a democratic republic, you and I have been given the opportunity to exercise our vote. In our new series, "Elephants, Donkeys, and the Lamb," we will explore some key passages in the Bible that give us a framework, not about whom we should vote for, but rather how we should vote. More importantly, we will talk about how we should treat one another, even when we disagree politically. Finally, remember that our only hope is found not in a president, a political party or platform, but in the Lamb, our Savior Jesus Christ.
